Heat Recovery Ventilation
Heat / Energy Recovery Ventilation Systems provides complete balanced ventilation for the whole house. Incoming air is filtered by pollen filters and also warmed by the air passing through one side of a heat exchanger.
The warm stale air that is being extracted from the building is passed through the other side of the heat exchanger to warm the fresh filtered air being brought into the house without cross- contamination.
This IS NOT a heating system. The heat recovery systems operate by recovering the energy that would normally be lost through open windows, wall vents etc. Whole House Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV or MHRV) is perhaps the easiest way to satisfy the requirements of the latest building regulations. A duct system is run from every room in the house to one point where the HRV machine operates silently and efficiently costing as little as ... per day to run.
